| Minimum Advertising Prices (MAP):
Many of our pro-audio brands are governed by Minimum Advertised Prices (MAP). Due to recent request by some manufacturers, we cannot advertise or display prices below their MAP whether by internet listings or actual printed displays. Even “click for your prices” will be forbidden by some manufacturers or we would be in violations of our dealer agreements. If you see prices lower than ours on major brands, they are likely to be either non-authorized dealers, “gray-market items, used or “B-Stock/factory refurbished products, or innocent mistakes by the authorized dealers. We will, nevertheless, do our best to equal or better their deal if proof can be provided. Customers are not governed by manufacturer pricing as we are.
Proof of lower advertised prices does not cover the following:
- B-Stock or refurbished products
- Used items
- Any auction prices of products with claims of being “new”.
- Non-authorized dealers
- Dealers outside the USA.
Authorized dealers, such as our company, have a far superior manufacturer’s support system than non-authorized dealers in dealing with product issues as well as problems solved. If anyone surf’s the net, they can see that legitimate dealers such as ourselves have similar prices on some products of major brands governed by MAP rules set by the manufacturers. |
